Hi, thanks for visiting my blog! This will be my first post, and will be about the timeline of the Total Drama series. I will do a post every time an important topic that is being debated, or anything else I feel like posting.

Cannon

The Total Drama series is difficult with it's cannon. With different winners in different countries, what is cannon and what isn't? It's simple, each country has it's own cannon. I will use the US and Canada as examples.

Canadian Cannon

  1. Island - Winner: Owen
  2. Action - Winner: Duncan
  3. World Tour - Winner: Alejandro
  4. Revenge of the Island - Winner: Cameron
  5. All-Stars - Winner: TBA
  6. Pahkitew Island - Winner: TBA

United States Cannon

  1. Island - Winner: Owen
  2. Action - Winner: Duncan
  3. World Tour - Winner: Heather
  4. Revenge of the Island - Winner: Lightning
  5. All-Stars - Winner: TBA
  6. Pahkitew Island - Winner: TBA

So there is an official ending depending on where you live. I live in the US, so I would follow the US cannon.

Timeline

I believe that, as each country has it's own canon, they also have they're own timeline (only being offset by the year). Again, I will use US and Canada as my examples.

Canadian Timeline

  • Island (June-July 2007) - This was the year the series premiered, it can be assumed that this is when it started
    • TDDDDI (July 2007) - It can be assumed this is set close to the end of Island, due to none of the contestants mentioning the fact that they haven't gone home yet
  • Action (July-August 2007) - It was mentioned to take place three days after the end of Island
    • CMTDARS (February 2008) - It can be assumed some time as passed since the end of TDA, giving enough time for the cast to "not be famous anymore"
  • World Tour (February-April 2008) - It seems little to no time has passed between CMTDARS and TDWT due to the lack of change in the characters. Cody's birthday (mentioned to be April 1st) is celebrated near the end of the season. Due to the constant traveling, this season took three months to the other seasons two.
  • Revenge of the Island (June-July 2008) - It is unknown how much time has passed between TDWT and TDRI, although enough time has passed between for Heather's hair to grow back to full lenght and Sierra's to start growing back. In TDAS, Alejandro says he was in the Robot suit for a year, so by placing this two months after the end of TDWT, it would fit that he is just saying a year rather than directly saying a year and two months.
  • All-Stars (July-August 2009) - Chris, having been arrested at the end of TDRI, served a year sentence in prison, so this season would pick up directly one year after the end of TDRI.

United States Timeline

    • CMTDARS (February 2009) - It can be assumed some time as passed since the end of TDA, giving enough time for the cast to "not be famous anymore"
  • World Tour (February-April 2009) - It seems little to no time has passed between CMTDARS and TDWT due to the lack of change in the characters. Cody's birthday (mentioned to be April 1st) is celebrated near the end of the season. Due to the constant traveling, this season took three months to the other seasons two.
  • Revenge of the Island (June-July 2009) - It is unknown how much time has passed between TDWT and TDRI, although enough time has passed between for Heather's hair to grow back to full lenght and Sierra's to start growing back. • All-Stars (July-August 2010) - Chris, having been arrested at the end of TDRI, served a year sentence in prison, so this season would pick up directly one year after the end of TDRI.

Thus the only difference is the year. Many people say Total Drama has a uneven timeline, but if put together right, it does, in fact, make sense. Also, many people say that the originals are a few years older than the newbies, but they are only one year older (By TDAS, Originals are 18 and Newbies are 17).
