Hey guys. Wanted to take some time to propose a new Wiki rule. I realize that I don't have any position of power, but it's come to my attention that we've had a huge problem with "drama blogs." I know that everyone has a right to freedom of speech, but I think that it might be a good idea to ban blogs that call out specific names of users that the writer is angry at. By calling attention to the situation, more people get involved, and soon enough the entire Wiki is angry about something or another. It's also becoming a problem where users get emotional and "quit" the Wiki. Truthfully, most people only do this for attention. They vent about being mistreated, see how many people beg them to stay, and then "change their mind" about leaving. I'm not suggesting banning blogs that announce the departure of members. But I really feel like it would be a good idea to ban blogs that call out other members, and bring un-needed to drama to the Wiki. This seems to happen daily, so I'm kind of surprised that nothing has been done about it yet. Blog posts aren't supposed to be for ranting/venting about problems that you have with other members. I'd also suggest that any blogs of this sort be closed or deleted. Arguments start whenever people are allowed to comment. Just my two cents.
