The timeline in Total Drama is kind of confusing at times, and there are always debates on how many years are between seasons, or what years they take place in. However, using math and logic, I have come to figure out when each season takes place, and I wanted to share it with everyone, so here we go. I also was able to figure out not only the year and month, but also a realistic assumption of the exact dates of TDI, TDA, and TDWT, which I will also share.

    • Day #: Date
      • Episode(s) taking place on that day (if there is one).

*Note: This key only applies for the first three seasons, as I can't say for sure what the exact dates are for ROTI onwards.*

    • Day 1: Friday, May 23, 2008
      • Not So Happy Campers
    • Day 2: Saturday, May 24, 2008
      • The Big Sleep
    • Day 3: Sund…

Welcome to Character Appreciation, a blog series that will run for the whole year alongside Project 10. Each week we'll take a look at one Total Drama character, what we like and dislike about them, how they've grown, and what we hope to see from them in the future. I'm Cody, and this week, we'll be appreciating the Schemer, Noah!

At the start of his time on Total Drama, Noah does not make much of an impact. He stays under the radar for the first few episodes, typically only speaking up to make sarcastic comments at the other contestants, and occasionally spawn a fanfic or two. However, in the fourth episode, he meets his downfall, when he decides not to take part in the Dodgebrawl challenge, and instead stays on the bleachers "cheering" fo…

    1. Heather never destroyed Lindsay's bike. Was Chris paying attention?

    (00:31)

    1. Compared to Lindsay's outburst in the last episode, "backstabbing user" sounds very underwhelming.

    (00:48)

    1. This episode never answers that last question. I know I shouldn't expect total honesty from Chris, but still, I was really looking forward to finding out who would renew his contract.

    1. Isn't it convenient that the killer has the exact same body type as Chef?

    (02:09)

    1. As we saw in the last shot, the killer was clearly already out of the woods.
    2. Izzy feels the need to tell everyone he has a chainsaw, but this is the end of the movie. They should know this already.
    3. Don't you love how Izzy describes everything about the movie so we don't actually have to see it?…

I'm Cody, and this week, we'll be appreciating the Super Villain, Max!

Max debuts in So, Uh This Is My Team? with the other third generation cast members. Like many of the characters in Total Drama: Pahkitew Island, Max is very wacky. In his case, he believes himself to be an evil genius, and strives to take over the world, using Total Drama as a stepping stone to achieve this. However, it does not take a genius to tell that Max himself is not one. We see immediately that Max is…

    • Honestly, Harold more or less did succeed. While he may not have actually won a point, there were a lot of other contestants who did far worse than him. On the other hand, people like Heather and Trent did not face their fears nearly as bravely as others. Man, they really need to fire the guy in charge of these recaps.

    • Why is it shocking that Tyler chickened out. Pretty sure that was obvious.
    • Also, more needless cruelty to Tyler.

    (00:35)

    • This line. Has no. Energy

    • Holy cow! This island really is haunted! They got a ghost to paint little red dashes on the map! This show had curses going around way before Beth got her hands on that idol.

    (02:10)

    • I get the joke about Geoff being empty-headed, but even if he didn't have a brain or skull…
