So, they have made it official and I couldn't be happier about it: Total Drama is renewed again! But they also announced they're going to make come back the "favorites" of season one, the same announcement they did before TDAS aired and that means their usual favorite characters will return for sure: Courtney, Gwen, Duncan, Owen, Heather. Careless if I like or dislike these characters, I admit Total Drama would have never been the same without them but they have been pushed way too far in the series, they have been used too often, I mean, they almost appeared in every season that didn't introduce new characters! The first three seasons and the TDAS one isn't enough? Also their last performance proved that writers are out of new plots for them…Read more >
Mal and Scarlett are well known as the most evil and contemporary least exstimated of the villains of Total Drama, at least here. In fact they're respectively the overpowered villain of the worst season and the least effective villain uncapable to cause a single elimination ( a truly unprecedented record). Scarlett isn't even considered the main villain of Pahkitew by the majority. This blog isn't to defend them because I know all their flaws perfectly, In this blog I want to say which were my expectations on them and how they should have been used and orchestrated by the writers of TDAS and Pahkitew, because they're both good ideas on the paper just poorly executed. (Blame writers, blame Cartoon Network and blame the low target of the aud…Read more >
It's a bit I don't put myself into the writing of a blog post, but, in order to sweep out of your mind some of the recent negativity that from targeting the scapegoat Mike now goes to complain for an early air of a show, I decided to do a blog where I explain which characters are (in my opinion) more similar to real people you would meet in real life, as a sign of grateful for the writers and concept artists that should get more comprehension sometimes...
P.S: I'm not going to include new RR characters atm.
Realistic Characters. I'm the first who says that as seasons progressed, the realistic touch faded away, especially after the huge amount of gimmicks brought by Pahkitew Generation, but since first generation TD managed to create good cha…Read more >
This is not an April Fool! FreshTV is leaking more and more about Ridonculous Race, and the answer they gave here are enough to confirm the presence of Noah, Owen and either Anne or Staci in the spin-off. The word "Possibly..." is a confirm at this point (not the first time they answer this about Owen and Noah) while the answer given to the question about Anne & Staci clears that EITHER both are not going to be in RR (but then who could of the 2nd generation?) OR only one of the two (then Anne Maria) will return but together someone else. What do you think about?Read more >
Welcome back, TDWiki fans, it's a bit I don't post something new! I noticed the blog posts are running of originality, so I decided to start a new chain: "If not a villain". You know, Total Drama as a normal reality show is full of nasty characters that more or less played the main villain or side villain role at a point, some did a splendid work, others did an awful, others were kind of there and there were also temporary villains...but here's an unexpected question: "What would have been their story if not villains?".

Creating a villain is probably the most huge work a writer has to do: unlike the hero, the villain can't count than on himself to have a purpose, a core that justifies his actions, as his/her characterization must be realist…
