Dear Total Drama Wiki Users:
As of late, I've been seeing a lot of blogs/blog comments that should not be blogs/blog comments. Blogs are meant to be a place where a user can express and opinion or thought, in relation to the wiki's theme. Writing a few sentances is not acceptable for a blog post. When someone goes to read a blog, they want to hear your voice. The point of a blog is NOT to have discussions in the comments, though those are always good too. A blog is like a journal only open to the public. That is how it should be used. It is a tool for self-expression.
Be careful though: a blog is not a "status" update. This is not twitter. I'm sorry if you thought otherwise.
If you'd like to have a conversation without a blog post, do so in the forums of the wiki.
As for blog comments...make sure they have substance and are intelligent responses. "Cool" is not an acceptable blog comment. If you'd like to say stuff like that, write it on a talk page. That is the outlet for a conversation with your friends.
If you've made some blogging mistakes before, it's cool. Just please don't do it again. Blogging is a great tool, but is extremely annoying when misused.
If you have any questions about what I'm trying to say, ask me. Practice using the blog comments intelligently.
