You all know the drill. I did two successful “Behind-The-Scenes” blogs for Seasons 4 and 6 of Countdown to 10,000 (which this SUSPICIOUSLY resembles), so I figured – eh, why not? I’ll do it here, too. But I will warn you: I’m a bit lazier and not as motivated to write this essay-style like my last two, so this may be a CRAZILY convoluted mess from time to time. Sorry for any future confusion.

Special thanks to our two VERY KIND, CARING, and COMPASSIONATE hosts:
CD-TDA, or “CD.” - The Countdown double-champ-turned-cynical-host
TotalDramaFan1000, or “TDF.” - The cohost who has trouble getting people to read his predictions
And an honorable mention/thanks to the stars of this season:

Pros (6): Chef (from the oven mitt joke, to lines such as "I'm the evil king. Rah." and "People gonna die."); Chris's mention of taxes and other fees in the prize money (Richard Hatch, anyone?); AleHeather finally being official (even though I always considered it official. >_>); the twist that Chris threw on that ANY of the six contestants could win (THAT was gold. If that had been done earlier, it would've been interesting. It made it a much more chaotic situation, such as Al and Heather going right back to fighting); the brief Titanic reference with the butler and the violin (what can I say? Another clever pop culture reference); that music in the climax (as crappy as the climax itself was, that music was boss)
Cons (4): Owen's cameo (OK, a…Read more >
Pros (6): Chris (surprisingly, he was at his best in this episode; complaining about "real soap" and the other "problems" with the Spa Hotel, treating Chef like crap once again in a funny, non-cross-dressing way, and loudly declaring certain contestants' statuses just to make it harder for them, all reminded us of classic TDI/TDA-era Chris that we all know and miss); the scenes inside Mike's head (finally, I enjoyed them. The bit with Mal catching and burning Mike's dreams per Mal's orders was actually kinda clever and funny, to the bit of banter between all of them towards the end); that brief callback to the TDA finale with the pirate ship set (nice bit of nostalgia there); Scott (once again, from his line comparing sharks to pigs, to his…Read more >
Hey, all. So TDAS is drawing to a close, and I'm extraordinarily bored on a Saturday night. So I decided to make this blog to give you all what is essentially a sequel to my previous update blog. So here goes:
1: My Episode Reviews - For those of you who don't know, I've been doing episode reviews ever since the premiere of my all-time favorite season, Total Drama Reloaded. Though there was a significant drop in comments on my reviews for Total Drama All-Stars, I've still enjoyed doing my reviews. But nonetheless, college is a-calling. So my review of the finale, along with my closing thoughts on the season as a whole, will essentially serve as the series finale of Fedora Kid's Episode Reviews.
2: My Predictions - These I've been doing ever …Read more >
Pros (4): The challenge (it was a fairly simple challenge in concept, but I liked how it played off of Chris's cruelty towards the interns, and also how it showed the vastly different areas of the island, from the snow to the swamp, and even the return of the nostalgic main lodge; also, the threats in the challenge were normal dangerous animals such as the bear and gators, not mutated freaks...other than the fire-breathing plant, and even that was quickly done away with); some of the one-liners in this episode (From Mal's line about the art being so hideous, to Zoey's line about her thinking that Courtney was the evil that Alejandro was warning them about and not Mal, some brilliant one-liners in this episode for sure); the way everyone was…Read more >
