Hey, these are my interviews with the Winner and Runner-up of Countdown to 10,000

CS2000: Did you ever think that you'd be the runner up of Countdown to 10,000

TDIFan13: I didn't ever think I'd be the runner-up of the Countdown. Personally, I thought I'd either rank first, or third. I knew I'd make it far, though.

CS2000: If TDA ROCKS didnt return who would you have liked to re-enter the competition

TDIFan13: I guess I'd have to say that I'd want Mr. Totaldramaman to enter the competition again. I only voted him off because I believed he would quit. He was a good opponent during the series.

CS2000: Which elimination did you not like the most?

TDIFan13: NinjaIzzy's, for sure. Her quitting for TotalDramaFan1000 was kind of pointless, in my opinion; she actually had potential to win.

CS2000: If you and CDTDA didnt make finale who would you have rather been in the finals?

TDIFan13: I would have chosen NinjaIzzy and Ragingblaze592. Overall, they're great competitors, and while NinjaIzzy may have not made that many edits during the competition, I still think she deserved a chance to win.

CS2000: Who in your opinion was the biggest threat during the game?

TDIFan13: Courtney~Duncan~TDA, admittedly. For the first couple weeks or so, I had noticed that she was trying to take control of the team. Believing that I was a better fit for team captain, I convinced the team to vote her off. However, we never got the chance to, because she kept winning invincibility whenever our team lost; a feature I did not like, by the way.

CS2000: For future contestants of this competition do you have any advice?

TDIFan13: I'd say, "always try your hardest to edit". For some reason, in the cases of a couple particular users, it seems to me that when you become admin, you become less active around the wikia. When I first joined, I really wanted to work hard so I could become a rollback, and also help the wiki out a bit. But, now, I still want to help the wiki; I just spend most of my time in the IRC. Even if you're an admin, always try your hardest to edit.

CS2000: Were you apart of any alliances during the competition?

TDIFan13: I was. As stated before, I had created my own alliance against Courtney~Duncan~TDA, though I was also in her alliance.

CS2000: Did you have a conflict with anyone in the competition? (Be honest)

TDIFan13: Honestly, I wouldn't say so. I think the users in the competition and I work pretty well, no conflict here.

CS2000: Do you think you edited to the best of your ability?

TDIFan13: No. Definitely not. I could've edited much more. On the last week, I just gave up. Second place isn't as good as first place, and I should've tried harder, but Courtney~Duncan~TDA deserved the win. I was often quite dirty during the competition, even though it never really showed. So, I'd rather have a good player like her win.

CS2000: Do you think you were seen as a threat or an underdog during the game?

TDIFan13: Personally, I had really done everything 'under-the-radar'. I didn't cause too many eliminations, but I guess I would be a minor threat, considering that I was an admin and all.

CS2000: Did you have a strategy in the game, such as strategies on how to get more edits?

TDIFan13: Strategies to get more edits; no. Strategies to win; yes. I created an alliance which didn't work out, and...basically, I tried to make as much edits as I could each day, after I was placed in the bottom two with KittyTDA98 and almost eliminated.

CS2000: At the start of the competition did you ever think you would make the final 2?

TDIFan13: I'd say final three. I believed that I'd either ranked first or third, and second's basically a way of the competition telling me, "here, let's negotiate". So, yeah, final three...not really final two.

CS2000: If the merge team got to vote on who won, do you think you would've won or still lost and why?

TDIFan13: Well, no offense to Courtney~Duncan~TDA, but I think I would've won. She would come in a close second. I'm only saying this because, somehow, she seemed to have more conflicts than I did, even though she played a much less dirty game than most other competitors. Still, I believe she would've ranked in a lot of votes if that did happen.

CS2000: Will you follow the second season?

TDIFan13: Probably not. I may check up on it once in a while, but, honestly; Countdown was never the most important thing for me. Even the last few weeks, when I was editing, I forgot what the edits were being counted in, which was Countdown. I'd rather edit naturally than have it be a competition.

CS2000: If you could return for another season would you play differently, and what differences would they be?

TDIFan13: I guess I'd have to play a dirtier game. I know I just said that users who play dirty don't win, but they do. And I don't mean dirty as in stuff that's 'over-the-top cruel' and could get a user banned, I just mean more alliances, and more cut-throat eliminations.

CS2000: Do you think this competition was a good idea?

TDIFan13: At first, yes, I did. I believed the competition was a great idea. But, now I've come to realize that in a sense, it isn't. And I'm not saying that because I lost. I think that the competition has unique and good ideas, but...it just seems to me like this is making editing a competition. And competitions lead to competitive users. Competitive users want to win, so they make numerous fluff edits. It's just not the way to go. Let everyone edit naturally. Nalyd, it was a good idea, but...I'm personally opposed to it. Even now, I find myself counting down the days when many users will be banned for making numerous, minor edits. Because of Countdown.

CS2000 & TDIFan13

CS2000: Did you ever think that you'd be the winner up of Countdown to 10,000

CDTDA: Did I think that I would be the winner of Countdown? Definetely not. I expected to be the fourth or fifth voted off from my team.

CS2000: If TDA ROCKS didnt return who would you have liked to re-enter the competition

CDTDA: If TDAROCKS didn't return, huh? I'd have to go with Mr_Totaldramaman. He has the capacity to be a great editor, and might have made it to the final three or four if he had edited to the best of his ability.

CS2000: Which elimination did you not like the most?

CDTDA: I'd have to say that I disliked NinjaIzzy's elimination the most. Nothing against TotalDramaFan1000, he's one of my best friends on the wiki, but I think NinjaIzzy might have won if she didn't quit for him. Then again, another threat eliminated...heh.

CS2000: If you and TDIFan13 didnt make finale who would you have rather been in the finals?

CDTDA: If me and TDIFan hadn't been in the final, huh? Ragingblaze592 versus NinjaIzzy would have been very exciting to watch, in my opinion. I'd have to stick with those two editing machines.

CS2000: Who in your opinion was the biggest threat during the game?

CDTDA: Biggest threat in the game? Without a doubt, Ragingblaze592. The week he got eliminated, I was on the computer about 9 hours, making all the edits I could. In fact, I made 175 edits on that Saturday.

CS2000: For future contestants of this competition do you have any advice?

CDTDA: Advice you ask. Well, I'd say that you have to edit to the best of your ability, and make sure to not fluff nor pointlessly revert edits.

CS2000: Were you apart of any alliances during the competition?

CDTDA: Alliances? For a short time, I was a part of Tdifan24's. Before I quit it of course. Then I got TDF1000, TDIFan13 and TDAROCKS into my own alliance. I'm sure that they did conspire against me on a couple of occasions. xD

CS2000: Did you have a conflict with anyone in the competition? (Be honest)

CDTDA: Did I have a confllict with anyone? Not at all. I did have some rivals, though. I did get irked at TDA ROCKS a couple of times, but we resolved that small rivalry.

CS2000: Do you think you edited to the best of your ability?

CDTDA: At times, yes. I usually edited to the best of my ability, but there were times where I slacked off and had to wake up at 4:00 AM EST (5:00AM my time) to count the edits to make sure I wasn't getting the boot.

CS2000: Did you have a strategy in the game, such as strategies on how to get more edits?

CDTDA: I didn't have a strategy to make edits, since I don't think there's any. But I did have strategies, such as an alliance, though. I didn't necessarily 'play dirty', but I did plot some eliminations behind the scenes.

CS2000: At the start of the competition did you ever think you would make the final 2?

CDTDA: I didn't think I'd make it to the final two. Like I responded in Question #1, I thought I would be the fourth/fifth to walk Nalyd's Dock of Shame.

CS2000: If the merge team got to vote on who won, do you think you would've won or still lost and why?

CDTDA: If the eliminated contestants got the right to choose who won, I'd say that TDIFan13 would have won. He was much more "under-the-radar," and I'd say that I had more rivalries with people, and such.

CS2000: Will you follow the second season?

CDTDA: I'm definetly following the second season, just not as much. I even forgot to tune in to see the first elimination. XD

CS2000: If you could return for another season would you play differently, and what differences would they be?

CDTDA: I'd definetly love to return for another season, but I'd have to edit like something...something that's fast. I'd definetly be one of the biggest threats, if not the biggest.

CS2000: Do you think the second season will live up to the second season of Countdown to 10,000?

CDTDA: I think the second season will probably be better than the first season, seeing how it's the second and therefore should be more planned out. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a huge fan of season one.

CS2000: Who in your opinion is the biggest threat of season 2?

CDTDA: The biggest threat is Team Kgman04 (since Enriquebarcelo dissapeared, apparently). He made over 300 edits in a week, which is an amazing & outstanding performance by our brown-fonted administrator. (The following text in italics was added at the last minute.) After Team Kgman04, it would be Mygeto/Crashman85 and then Numbuh3/Lizcat68.

CS2000: Do you think this competition was a good idea?

CDTDA: I think "Countdown to 10,000" was a great idea, by NalydRenrut. Despite some conflicts or misunderstandings during the competion, it was an amazing idea.
