There seems to be a recent trend in the TD fanbase to compare an underaged character that gets very little screen time to an over exposed character that is hated, and put the underated character on a pedestal. The example that I want to address is a common statement I see. "Mike and Zoey are terrible/bland/offensive characters, I wish the writers utilized better characters like Brick, Dakota, Dawn, or Anne Maria." Another one is, "Why was Sam in All Stars? Better characters like Brick, Dakota, Harold, Leshawna, or Anne Maria should have been in."

Yes Mike and Zoey are terrible characters, and Sam probably should not have been in All Stars. Also Yes Brick and Dakota are two of the better characters from ROTI, but Anne Maria is not. Just because…

It seems that every season after the merge the show gets worse. Characters are always derailed in the post merge, while it rarely happens pre merge. I think the show does better when there are more contestants as opposed to fewer. When there are just seven contestants left, the flaws are way more apparent. The challenges also get lamer to me when there are no more teams. The only season with a good merge to me was TDI, and the pre merge was still better. Thoughts?

Day 3 people! I never thought I would make it this far semi srs.

Today we will look at one of TD's most hilarious characters, Lindsay! Of her four seasons we will determine in which was she best and worst. So lets get started...

TDI: This season what established Lindsay as one of the funnier characters of the show.

TDI Lindsay was not only hilarious, but played perfectly IMO. Her main storyline this season was her one sided friendship with Heather. We saw Heather completely manipulate Lindsay throughout the season with Lindsay being completely oblivious to it. This was a great dynamic, and seeing Lindsay be involved in Heather's schemes brought some funny moments. This storyline really made you believe that Lindsay wanted to be Heather's frie…

I'm gonna try to make these daily. Hopefully it stays that way.

Today we are going to try and determine the season Heather was best and worst in. So lets start with Heather's first appearance on Total Drama.

TDI: In this season Heather was the main antagonist and I felt she was very good at it.

What made Heather great this season IMO was her great conflicts between majority of the cast. She had a conflict with almost everyone and they all felt different to me in a way. Whether it was her verbal matches with Leshawna, her overall disgust with Owen, or her just making mean comments to everyone, it all felt fresh and never got old. Her biggest conflict was with Gwen and that was handeled perfectly. The diabolical things she did like kissing Tren…

The purpose of this blog is to look at all the seasons a character competed in and determine which season the character was best in.

Today we will be looking at one of Total Drama's most central characters, Gwen!

TDI: In TDI we saw Gwen be the girl who, at first, hated people and learned to make friends. This really fit her character and made her a very good protagonist IMO. The friendships she formed felt real and not forced either, with the main ones being with Geoff and Leshawna. Her conflict with Heather was well done and never got old to me. Even her relationship with Trent was well done and relationships like that usually bore me. She was definitely one of the characters that deserved to win that season and her getting to the final two…
