I've always thought it would be a great addition to the character pages if we had a personality section on each of them. I know we already talk about it a bit in the character's coverage, but I feel as if it's important enough to have its own part of the profile. The section doesn't have to be long, couple of paragraphs or so, about the basics and describing how that person changes over the course of the show.

So, for example, here's what Courtney's could look like:

Personality

A Student Council President nominee and member of her school debate team, Courtney is extremely competitive and has shown throughout the series that she will go to great lengths to win. In Total Drama Island, Courtney is portrayed as polite with desire to lead her team and follow the rules. In Basic Straining, Courtney learns to loosen up as Duncan toys with Chef and takes her under his wing to show her a good time. In Total Drama Action, Courtney's competitiveness reaches an all-time high as she, originally unqualified for the second season, sues the show to return mid-game. Upon her arrival, she makes sure she is accommodated with delicious meals and a private bathroom, as well as advantages over the other contestants, such as her PDA. When Justin is eliminated in The Princess Pride, Courtney officially takes over his role as main antagonist, becoming increasingly unpopular as the season progresses.

or Sierra's:

Personality

With blogs dedicated to every contestant there has ever been and private information extending as far as their dental records, Sierra is Total Drama's biggest fan. After auditioning for the show twice, Celebrity Manhunt's Total Drama Action Reunion Special finally gave her her wish to compete alongside her favorite reality show cast. Sierra is most star struck by Cody, and her luck gets even better when she switches teams with Izzy onto Team Amazon. Her obsession with him is so deep, she truly believes her dream of marrying him has come true in Niagara Brawls. Annoyed by the constant attention, Cody spends most of his time in Total Drama World Tour avoiding her. However, as the season winds down, Sierra begins to tame her crush and becomes a helpful hand to him. By the finale, he considers her his best friend.

I think it'll give the pages a more "official" feel. Obviously, we don't need to do this for every single living thing that's ever appeared on the show. At the least, the contestants and Chris and Chef.

  16. My only concern is with "special" characters. In particular, Mike and his other personalities. I'm all for it if we can get passed that issue though!

Oppose

  1. I really don't think we need this. What can a personality section do that reading the description and the actual content of the wiki can't? Other than being slightly more personal with the character, it doesn't do anything. Not to mention, where would we place it? Would we place it at the top and completely undermine reading the page, or would place it at the bottom where after reading the content, the section would be useless. Not to mention, why make a new section? We could just make the top descriptions more detailed and/or personal. After comtemplating, I simply have to oppose. I once thought of that, but then i realise that the overview in Everyone pages pretty much summarise the personality of those with Everyone interaction pages. Give me time to decide PhoenixDragonSamurai

Some of the opening paragraphs of biography articles are already like this in a way. Courtney is a good example. Still, it'd be nice to give it its own section. The only thing I'm worried about is that it might become too biased over time... ~ ♥Jammy♥talk|La|info 01:59, November 13, 2013 (UTC)
