The Squirrel is a recurring animal throughout the series.

Total Drama Island[]

At the beginning of the opening sequence, a camera pushes a squirrel out of a hole in a tree. Soon after, squirrels are seen peacefully sitting by DJ. This continues until a fish falls on him, causing the squirrel and several other animals to attack him, even though he is supposed to be an animal lover.

Outdoors7

The left squirrel imitates Katie, while the right one imitates Sadie.

In The Sucky Outdoors, the squirrels make fun of Katie and Sadie when they get lost in the woods by mimicking their argument, mouthing the words, and making the faces. The squirrels also laugh a little as they do so.

In Brunch of Disgustingness, the fur of two squirrels on a nearby tree gets blown off after Geoff belches very loudly.

In X-Treme Torture, early in the morning, an annoyed squirrel smacks a tweeting bird off a tree.

In Search and Do Not Destroy, a squirrel is seen coming out of the tree with a cup of coffee at the beginning of the episode.

Dramatic Squirrel

In Hide and Be Sneaky, Gwen punches a squirrel, who is near her hiding spot, before it can reveal her location to Chef who is hunting the contestants to eliminate them from the challenge. Later, when Geoff climbs a tree, an acorn falls off it and knocks out a passing squirrel.

In Camp Castaways, a squirrel is seen floating away from the island, on top of a submarine.

In I Triple Dog Dare You!, a squirrel in the forest turns dramatically towards the camera after hearing Heather's scream.

Total Drama Action[]

In Dial M for Merger, a squirrel is seen falling into the tomato bath, in which the cast is sitting in after smelling their stench.

Total Drama World Tour[]

Animals vs Harold

A squirrel punches Harold during a never-before-seen flashback clip in Aftermath: Bridgette Over Troubled Water.

In Aftermath: Bridgette Over Troubled Water, the squirrel makes a brief appearance in the aftermath in a never-before-seen clip of Harold's "best" moments. It is also seen punching Harold in the face, with its fist enlarging to a much greater size, after it becomes annoyed with his stream of trivial facts.

In Aftermath: Revenge of the Telethon, the squirrel is seen during the "DJ's World of Animals" segment, in which a clip is shown of DJ feeding a squirrel food in Central Park, when a bicycle suddenly runs it over, squishing it to the ground.

In Awwwwww, Drumheller, two squirrels are among the animals and Ezekiel seen evacuating from the Total Drama Jumbo Jet moments before Sierra accidentally blows it up.

Total Drama: Revenge of the Island[]

During Dawn's audition tape, a squirrel appears on a branch nearby. She takes it in her hand and explains that she's going to use her money to help Mother Earth. The squirrel then is taken away by an eagle, shocking her.

When Camp Wawanakwa becomes radioactive, the squirrel is now heavily mutated. In addition to losing its hair, the squirrel's eyes blink vertically opposed to horizontally, its tongue being extremely long, and it now has the ability to shoot lightning-like bolts from its eyes. In addition, it became either a carnivorous or omnivorous animal, as it eats a butterfly.

LaserSquirrel

In Bigger! Badder! Brutal-er!, when the contestants first arrive to the island, they think they are being chased by a large monster, but it turns out to be a squirrel. Dakota later tries to pet the squirrel, wanting to keep it, but it proceeds to shoot electrical bolts at her. During the first challenge, while Brick tries to pull an axe from his team's totem, the squirrel appears again. After being agitated by Mike, the squirrel shoots more electrical bolts from its eyes, cutting down the Mutant Maggots totem, giving them a lead in the challenge.

In Truth or Laser Shark, a squirrel is seen eating a chocolate bar while watching Jo and Brick run into each other, laughing when it happens.

In Runaway Model, a squirrel is seen hanging around in some scenes and joining in on the mutant animal fight in the woods.

In Grand Chef Auto, Chef uses a group of squirrels to prevent the contestants from getting into their go-karts. Cameron eventually gets rid of them by throwing a packet of nuts at Chef.

In Eat, Puke and Be Wary, a squirrel appears in the beginning of the episode, disintegrating three birds with electrical bolts. Later, a few of them attack Cameron, while he is looking for ingredients to cook his dish.

Another squirrel appears in The Enchanted Franken-Forest eating the giant fly that is trying to kiss Cameron.

A squirrel appears in Brain vs. Brawn: The Ultimate Showdown, along with the other mutated creatures. It shoots Anne Maria's hair with its electrical bolts; however, Ezekiel throws it aside and saves her.

Total Drama All-Stars[]

In Saving Private Leechball, Sam encounters a squirrel in a tree on Boney Island, while trying to avoid the animals trying to get him. The squirrel then throws a nut at Sam, knocking him into the angry horde.

Moon Madness Squirrel

The squirrels in Moon Madness.

In Moon Madness, while under the effects of the Blue Harvest Moon, the squirrels on the island have become ferocious, even attacking a bear at one point.

A mutant squirrel makes a brief appearance in No One Eggspects The Spanish Opposition at the fun zone, while Scott and Courtney are talking.

In The Final Wreck-ening, when the island is sinking, a squirrel is seen holding up a sign showing the world falling apart, laughing hysterically. It is then later seen with the other animals, escaping in the Boat of Losers.

Total Drama: Pahkitew Island[]

This season features a new contestant named Ella, who has the ability to charm any animal by singing. One of these animals is the squirrel, which is commonly seen near her when she sings.

In So, Uh This Is My Team?, two squirrels are seen alongside Ella and several other animals inside the confessional, while Ella is using it.

In A Blast from the Past, a squirrel is seen running away at the beginning of the episode when a creature covered in seaweed emerges from the lake.

In Pahk'd With Talent, during the final part of the third challenge, Sugar's singing is so loud that it causes a nearby squirrel to lose all its fur.

Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race[]

In Little Bull on the Prairie, a squirrel appears as one of the many animals Owen hits while driving.

  • The squirrel is one of the few animals to appear in every season so far, including the spin-off.
  • A squirrel also appears in Camp TV; however, it is different than any of the squirrels that have appeared in the franchise.
