The following is a list of broadcasters that have aired or streamed Total Drama in different countries.

Television channels[]

2X2[]

This is the television channel that aired Total Drama in Russia and is currently owned by Gazprom-Media.

2X2 started airing Total Drama Island on August 8, 2010. Unlike the other Russian version, which aired on Jetix, it was uncensored and voice-overed, rather than dubbed. The second season has a different Russian title, than the Jetix one (Город Отчаянных Героев). The rest of the seasons didn't air on this channel.

ABC1 (now ABC TV)[]

ABC1 (2008)

This is the television channel that previously aired Total Drama in Australia and is owned by Australian Broadcasting Corporation. ABC1 aired Total Drama Island on March 17, 2009, aired Total Drama Action on August 20, 2010. Total Drama Island was shown through the older-children's TV hosted hour called RollerCoaster. When the children's block was shortened to afternoons only in May 2011, ABC1 ceased programming Total Drama but continued to air repeats and new episodes on ABC3, which it had done since its launch in 2009. Island and Action were the only seasons to air on ABC1, both premiering and airing repeats on the channel.

ABC3 (now known as ABC ME)[]

This is the main television channel where Total Drama is aired in Australia and is owned by ABC Television. ABC3 aired Total Drama Island on December 7, 2009, aired Total Drama Action on February 18, 2010 and aired Total Drama World Tour on July 28, 2010. ABC3 aired Total Drama World Tour before a major channel (Teletoon) did. ABC3 aired Total Drama: Revenge of the Island on May 28, 2012. Total Drama All-Stars aired on December 12, 2013, once again before a major channel (Teletoon). Total Drama: Pahkitew Island aired on July 14, 2014. Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race aired on December 12, 2015 as a double episode, which is simply known as Total Drama Presents: Ridonculous Race. Total DramaRama premiered on July 15, 2019. The first season of the Total Drama Island reboot premiered on December 23, 2023 with double episodes, making it the first season of the primary series to premiere on ABC ME since the channels rebrand in September 2016, with repeats of World Tour to Pahkitew Island airing until 2018 and Ridonculous Race repeats airing until 2019. The second season of the Total Drama Island reboot will premiere on February 3, 2024. The entire first season of the Total Drama Island reboot as well as episodesof Total DramaRama that have aired on ABC ME in the past 30 days are available on ABC's streaming and catch-up TV service ABC iview.

This is the first television channel where Total Drama is aired in Portugal. Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action and Total Drama World Tour have aired on this channel.

Boomerang[]

Total DramaRama premiered on Boomerang in May 2022. Prior to this, Boomerang Latin America was the television channel where Total Drama aired in Latin America. It was owned by Turner Broadcasting System, Latin America, and Time Warner. Total Drama Island aired at different times. However, Total Drama Action was the last season to have aired on Boomerang, whereas Cartoon Network has aired all five seasons. In the two seasons that were aired, Boomerang would show the alternate ending, opposing Cartoon Network's official ending, that is, with Gwen winning Total Drama Island and Beth winning Total Drama Action. On December 1, 2021, Boomerang was replaced with Cartoonito in Latin America.

C4[]

This is the television channel where Total Drama is aired in New Zealand. It is owned by MediaWorks, a company in New Zealand. C4 has aired Total Drama Island and has yet to air Total Drama Action and Total Drama World Tour.

In 2011, C4 was replaced by FOUR.

Cartoon Network[]

Cartoon Network is the television channel that has aired all the Total Drama seasons thus far in the United States. It is owned by Warner Bros. Discovery through Turner Broadcasting System. Like Boomerang, this is the television channel where the Total Drama series is aired in most parts of Latin America.

Canal+ and Canal+Family[]

Canal+ is the first French channel to have aired Total Drama Island (L'île des défis extrêmes), Total Drama Action (Ciné défis extrêmes) and Total Drama World Tour (Défis extrêmes : La tournée mondiale) while it also aired Total Drama: Revenge of the Island (Défis extrêmes : Le retour à l'île) before its original airing in Teletoon and Cartoon Network.

CBBC is a channel that airs Total Drama in the United Kingdom. As of February 2024, Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race, Total DramaRama,Total Drama Island (2023) and Total Drama Island (2024) under the title Total Drama Island: Reboot, have aired on the channel.

DeA Kids[]

DeA Kids

DeA Kids is a channel that airs Total Drama in Italy. They have aired all seasons, however, their website only lists Total Drama Island (A tutto reality - L'isola). DeA Kids was launched on October 1, 2008 on Sky Italia (their guide has every season of the show listed).

Diema 2[]

This is the television channel where Total Drama is aired in Bulgaria owned by Modern Times Group. Diema was founded in 1999. Its founder was Emil Slavchev. Diema also has 4 sister channels (Kino Nova, Diema Family, Nova Sport, and Nova Television). Total Drama Island has aired on Diema 2, although later the airings were transferred to Cartoon Network Bulgaria.

Disney XD[]

Disney XD is the television channel that airs Total Drama Island in the UK, Irish Republic, Netherlands, and Spain. It is owned by The Walt Disney Company.

Disney XD in the UK and Irish Republic was founded on October 19, 1996 as Fox Kids. In 2005, Fox Kids was renamed Jetix. In 2009, the named changed to Disney XD. Total Drama Island aired in the UK and Ireland on March 21, 2009. It began airing Total Drama Action on April 11th, 2011.

Disney XD Netherlands was founded in August 1997 as Fox Kids. In the mid-2000s, it was renamed to Jetix. Later, on January 1, 2010, Jetix got once again renamed, this time, to Disney XD. Total Drama Island aired in the Netherlands in 2009. Later seasons would be aired on Cartoon Network.

Disney XD Spain was founded on September 18, 2009 by The Walt Disney Company. Total Drama Island aired in October 15, 2011 and was the only season to be aired in Spain.

This is the television channel, where Total Drama is aired in Italy.

  • Total Drama Island (2007) (A Tutto Reality: L'isola) was aired with two episodes every Wednesday at 7:50PM until October 31, 2010.
  • Total Drama Action (A Tutto Reality: Azione!) began airing on October 31, 2010 and two episodes were aired each day from Monday to Saturday at 7:20PM until March 27, 2011.
  • Total Drama World Tour (A Tutto Reality: Il Tour) began airing on March 27, 2011, and two episodes were aired each day from Monday to Saturday at 7:20PM.
  • Total Drama: Revenge of the Island (A Tutto Reality: La Vendetta dell'Isola) started on January 9, 2012.
  • Total Drama All-Stars (A Tutto Reality: All-Stars) started on March 3, 2014.
  • K2 would world premiere Total Drama: Pahkitew Island (A Tutto Reality: L'Isola di Pahkitew) on June 13, 2014.
  • Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race (A tutto reality presenta: Missione cosmo ridicola) began airing on January 7, 2016.
  • Like with Total Drama: Pahkitew Island, Total Drama Island (2023) (A Tutto Reality: L'isola 2) is scheduled to have its world premiere on K2 in April 2023.

Boomerang (Canada) is a rebrand of the original Cartoon Network (Canada) where Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race originally aired. It was originally thought that Total Drama Island (2023) would premiere on this channel, however it instead went to Cartoon Network.

It was announced in June 2022 that all other seasons will become available on the service.

It is also expected to stream Total Drama Island (2023) when it premieres. On May 23, 2023 (Currently does NOT stream in the USA), HBO Max and Discovery+ merged to become Max. It currently streams Total Drama Island (2023) in Italy.

StackTV is a Canadian-exclusive streaming channel available as an extension to Amazon Prime Video, Roku TV, as well as other services. It currently streams Total Drama Island (2007), Total DramaRama, and Total Drama Island (2023).

Teletoon, much like StackTV, is a Canadian-exclusive streaming channel available as an extension to Prime Video. The main difference is that Teletoon+ is specifically for Cartoon Network shows, whereas StackTV is based on TV channels in general.

Trivia[]

  • ABC3, Canal+ and K2 are currently the only channels to air a complete season before the major channels did.
  • As of now, DeA Kids is the only channel that aired Total Drama: World Tour in 16:9 ratio, with every other airings being in 4:3. The season was not in HD, though, its airing was for some reason in 16:9 but in SD.
