This article focuses on the interactions between Everyone and Duncan.

Overview

Because of the mixture of his mean and nice behaviour, Duncan's relationship with the other contestants changes throughout the series. A majority of the contestants dislike Duncan greatly, however, as he is constantly picking on and pranking on them. This is mainly because of him hiding his sweet side probably not wanting the others to think of him as a weak person. However, he is never treated the same way as the antagonists (such as Heather, Courtney, and Alejandro) by the other contestants and is still be able to make friends with some of them.

Alejandro

Chinese Fake-Out (4)

Alejandro and Duncan race along the Great Wall of China.

In Total Drama World Tour, Duncan and Alejandro doesn't have much interaction due to Duncan quitting the game in the very beginning. However, after Duncan returns, Alejandro isn't very pleased with that due to him knowing Duncan would be a threat. In the The Ex-Files, Duncan admits that Alejandro is "alright" because of him controlling Owen making him sing Take Me Out while doing the running man. As the game progresses, Owen tells Duncan what Noah said about Alejandro's true nature and that he is not trustworthy therefore making Duncan form an alliance with Owen to try and get rid of Alejandro. Short while after that, Duncan uses Alejandro to try and get Courtney eliminated making Duncan realize that if Alejandro fails it's a reason to vote him off and if he succeeds, Courtney is gone. In African Lying Safari, Alejandro betrays Duncan and form an alliance with Heather, eliminating Duncan from the game.

Beth

File:MSS-Top.jpg

Duncan and Beth working together.

Duncan and Beth were never seen interacting during Total Drama Island, since they were on opposing teams and Beth was eliminated rather early. During Total Drama Action, they were put on different teams once again and not much interaction happened between them until the merge. However, since both of them made it to the final two during the second season, their new friendship started to bloom for the first time and the two were even shown helping one another make it to the finish line. Although, Duncan and Beth seemed to have small rivalry in the last Total Drama Action episode, it is hinted that they are still friends. This is left to be announced due to the fact that Beth did not compete in Total Drama World Tour or Total Drama All Stars.

Blaineley

During the song, Blainerific, Duncan states she is "so, so horrific." In Hawaiian Style, Duncan laughs at Blaineley when Geoff shows a video of her crashing into a roof of a house after taking the Drop of Shame. He also says that Blaineley has so much in common with Heather while giving her a Team Heather flag.

Bridgette

File:TDI Duncan and Bridgette.jpg

Duncan and Bridgette wait in anticipation for which one of them will be eliminated.

In Hide and Be Sneaky, Duncan orchestrates the guys' alliance. Even without Geoff's help, he uses its power to vote off a potentially threatening Bridgette for her all-around likability and athleticism. In the next season, she and Geoff are the first ones to leave because of their constant make-out sessions. Bridgette is confused, claiming that everyone liked them; however, Duncan says that she was right. Everyone "liked" them (implying that they used to like Geoff and Bridgette, but not anymore), and is shown to vote for them in the confessional. During her talk show segment, Bridgette begins to make fun of him, along with Geoff and the other commentators.

Cameron

In Saving Private Leechball, Duncan notice that Cameron is targetting Gwen from behind and quickly used himself to protect her from Cameron's shot.

In You Regatta Be Kidding Me, Cameron, Duncan, Scott and Zoey are all on the same raft for the challenge after Mike (Mal in reality) broke the remaining boats. When Cameron came up with a plan to make their raft faster (which involve using Scott to lure Fang into pulling the raft), Duncan compliments him. However, in an earlier confessional, Duncan shows a little jealousy at Cameron as even he can be a better villain than him.

Chef Hatchet

DuncanKissChef

Duncan annoys Chef in Basic Straining.

Due to Chef Hatchet's militaristic nature and Duncan's delinquent persona, Duncan quickly began to get on Chef's nerves. During Basic Straining, he finds various methods to get through Chef's challenges, but makes sure to annoy Chef on the way. This is repeated in all episodes in which Chef is put in charge of the challenges, notably in Hide and Be Sneaky and Are We There Yeti?. During the hiding challenge, Chef Hatchet had no trouble finding Duncan after finding clues to where he was. During Total Drama Action, he argues with Duncan over who should do what in the challenge in Riot On Set and The Sand Witch Project, even though he wasn't supposed to interfere with either team.

Chris

Chickwasdetermined

Duncan threatens Chris for the final marshmallow in X-Treme Torture.

In various episodes, Chris and Duncan have a major conflict. In Walk Like An Egyptian - Part 1, Duncan yells at Chris as he quits Total Drama World Tour because he doesn't want to sing. However, in I See London..., Chris forces Duncan back in the competition by sending the remaining contestants to find him because Chris thinks that Duncan is "skipping out of the game."

Cody

Codypunchs

Cody punches Duncan in Greece's Pieces.

Prior to Total Drama World Tour, the interaction between the two have been minimal, with merely a couple small bits of fluster between the two. However, the two become fierce opponents after Duncan kisses Gwen, who Cody is obssessed with since the first season, in I See London....

Courtney

Darling

Courtney glaring at Duncan in Dodgebrawl.

Even though they were in a relationship, some conflict arose in many instances before their relationship began, as well as after, especially when Courtney returns in the second season after successfully suing the show as well having many unfair disadvantages. Additonally, Courtney was jealous of Duncan's friendship with Gwen and ruthlessly defeats him in many challenges. Tired of Courtney bossing him around, Duncan voted her off in Top Dog and they broke up. By the end of the season however, the two of them patch things up and continue dating.

In Total Drama World Tour, Duncan began to have feelings for Gwen and the two ended up kissing after Duncan's return in I See London.... After Courtney found out about the affair, the two of them broke up and become enemies again.

Two seasons later, the conflict between the two continues especially after Duncan and Gwen broke-up and both his exes constantly teases him even when he tries to warn them about a powerful villain among the remaining contestants.

DJ

Despite their contrasting personalities, Duncan and DJ become fast friends in Total Drama Island after Duncan defends DJ when their team needs to vote off someone and DJ being one of the prime candidates due to his lack of participitation in the challenge. The two were join by Geoff and are often seen hanging out together. Later on in the season, the three of them form the first Guy's alliance with Owen when they realise the girls outnumbered them. In the next season, Duncan and DJ are on the same team again after they were selected by Gwen. DJ was impressed by Duncan's performance throughout the season especially when he replaced Gwen as their team's unofficial leader after Gwen was eliminated in The Chefshank Redemption. However, DJ chose to vote for Beth to win the million dollars in The Aftermath: IV.

Eva

During Total Drama Island and Total Drama Action, Eva and Duncan have had numerous changes with their friendship-hatred towards each other. During The Big Sleep, Eva accuses everyone of voting her off and plans on getting revenge, without even knowing if everyone (including Duncan) actually voted for her. Around the beginning of No Pain, No Game, Chris tells Duncan and the other ten remaining campers that she and Izzy would return to the island. Hatred between the two is seen even more when Duncan is seen looking scared upon her arrival, as well as Eva saying that she will get revenge on her "backstabbing Bass team who voted her off.” Duncan shows even more conflict towards Eva when he chants with the rest of the group her name for Bridgette to choose her to go into a crate with Sasquatchanakwa for ten seconds. Although, it should be noted, that he is one of the only people not to vote Eva off, instead he voted for Heather and in Haute Camp-ture, Eva admits that she likes Duncan's "style" when talking about the dodge ball challenge in Dodgebrawl. In the first Aftermath, Eva is seen to be against Duncan "breaking up" the relationship between Gwen and Trent. She is however pleased when he won Total Drama Action.

Ezekiel

ZekeAttack

Ezekiel hammers Duncan in African Lying Safari.

The two have not had much interaction with each other due to Ezekiel being eliminated first in Total Drama Island and Total Drama World Tour and not competing on Total Drama Action, but when the Bass had to face their first elimination ceremony, and all the girls were glaring angrily at Ezekiel, Duncan told Ezekiel that he had "a lot to learn about the real world."

In Celebrity Manhunt's Total Drama Action Reunion Special, Duncan says that he could survive in the streets, to which Ezekiel replies that he could survive as well (as he is getting his wallet stolen by a hobo).

When Ezekiel was eliminated in Walk Like An Egyptian - Part 2, Duncan was noticeably stunned at the sudden brutality of his elimination (Chef brutally kicking him out of the plane), but then simply whistled and said, "sucks to be Zeke.”

In African Lying Safari, when Duncan and Alejandro found themselves stuck in quicksand, the latter managed to trick Ezekiel into grabbing a stick Alejandro was holding and pull them out, saving both of their lives. However, Duncan was later tricked by Alejandro into getting attacked by the newly-feral and rabid Ezekiel. While Duncan was washing some red berries off of himself at a small pond, Ezekiel burst out of the water and slashed Duncan across the chest, then pounced on him and beat him savagely. This eventually caused Duncan's elimination.

In Hawaiian Style, when Geoff called Heather a "Total Drama Cockroach," Duncan replies, "I thought that was Ezekiel."

Geoff

Geoff-Duncan fight

Geoff and Duncan argue after Geoff helps Bridgette.

Duncan and Geoff's friendship always strayed in certain points. During Brunch of Disgustingness, Geoff (on the male team) helps Bridgette (on the female team) in one of the mini-challenges, which caused his team to lose the point for that mini-challenge. This got Duncan furious, however, they immediately made up after Chris' interjection, much to Bridgette's surprise. At the end of Hide and Be Sneaky, Duncan finds out that Geoff didn't stay loyal to the Guy's Alliance by voting Bridgette off (even though she did leave without his help). Geoff was then seen saying good night to the rest of the boys outside the cabin, upside down, hanging from a tree. To Duncan, this disloyalty (as well as his all-around niceness) caused him to be voted off later in Trial by Tri-Armed Triathlon. In the next season, Geoff only made it to the second episode, when he and Bridgette were kicked off in Alien Resurr-eggtion. As Bridgette is clueless to why they were kicked off, Duncan tells them both that the remaining cast members used to like them, but now that they began to make out so much, the likeliness has gone.

Gwen

Dg9

Duncan and Gwen's first interaction.

Gwen was shown to have a love/hate relationship with Duncan throughout Total Drama Island: though they developed a cameraderie, there were times where Gwen wanted him off the island, even choosing to try and eliminate him in Hide and Be Sneaky with the other girls and not considering him one of the good people during her final rant in The Very Last Episode, Really!.

Even with these instances, during the second season, the contact between Gwen and Duncan has often been misinterpreted by the other contestants as a couple, causing tension and jealousy by their respective love partners.

The pair begin to have feelings for each other in Total Drama World Tour and share their first kiss after Duncan return to the competition in I See London.... They finally become a couple after they share another kiss in The EX-Files and after Courtney broke up with Duncan earlier in the episode though their time together were short as Gwen was eliminated in the next episode. They are finally reunited after Duncan was eliminated again a few episodes later.

However, their relationship was over two seasons later in Moon Madness when Gwen becomes jealous and angry that Duncan was constantly asking her whether Courtney was talking about him or not which resulted in Gwen dumping him.

Harold

Duncan-02

Duncan and Harold's first interaction.

Harold is arguably Duncan's worst enemy. They got off to a terrible start in the very first episode when Duncan threatened to punch Harold for smiling at him. He criticized Harold's dodgeball skills during the dodgeball challenge, even though those same skills are what saved his team. Ironically, his breaking point with Duncan was the actual starting point for Duncan and Courtney. In Basic Straining, he rigged the votes against Courtney, solely out of spite towards Duncan. During the first season, his grudge began to simmer, especially after his elimination the very next episode. Harold is still seen to hate Duncan for his previous acts, seen in Haute Camp-ture. During the special, he was deprived of going with Duncan and Courtney to hunt for the million dollars because of their mutual dislike of him.

In Total Drama Action, Duncan finally tells the viewers, in 3:10 to Crazytown, that the obvious reason for him to keep bullying Harold was because of his grudge towards him for eliminating Courtney last season. As of Full Metal Drama, Harold stood up to Duncan and may signify a small friendship. However, the two continue to hold grudges throughout each other. Leshawna originally planned an alliance with Duncan and Harold in One Flu Over the Cuckoos in order to get Heather off the show, but they refused. Leshawna later finally got the two of them in her alliance in Dial M for Merger after Heather was voted off the the previous episode. Unfortunately, Duncan and Harold immediately dumped and voted off Leshawna in Super Hero-ld in order to be with Justin to start a new Guys' Alliance. In 2008: A Space Owen, Harold crushes Duncan's pet tarantula Scruffy accidentally, which Duncan later votes Harold off because of that. Harold even pulls Duncan's pants down before he leaves, to which Duncan admitted that he had that coming. Their conflict is still unresolved, but with Duncan no longer dating Courtney, Duncan possibly no longer bullies him.

Heather

From the moment they met, Duncan immediately shows attraction towards Heather. He was very well known to sarcastically call Heather by pet names in Total Drama Island. while she calls him names based on his juvenille record in the next season. Despite this, Duncan, like most contestants, hated Heather's cruel nature.

Izzy

Duncan agrees with everyone about Izzy's usual nature, classified as pure insanity. However, he didn't seem to have a conflict with her and the two are very similar in nature. In Search and Do Not Destroy, Duncan appears to be worried when he saw a snake wrapped around her head and bite her. Izzy is heard saying "Woo-hoo! Way to go Duncan." in Hook, Line, and Screamer when he found out who was the psycho killer behind the mask and removed it. In Wawanakwa Gone Wild!, Duncan found Izzy's "sharp-shooting" tranquilizer skills very amusing when a tranquilizer dart was shot in Heather's butt. Because of being in a temporary alliance with Heather, he and Heather voted Izzy off the island that episode. In Mutiny on the Soundstage Duncan calls Izzy a freak when he could not remember who Izzy was reincarnated. Izzy was impressed with Duncan's break dancing skills in The Aftermath: IV. However, Izzy voted for her alter-ego (Explosivo) to win the million dollars. Although she did smile when Duncan was announced the winner.

Jo

Both are placed on the same team in Total Drama All-Stars, and are seen to be on friendly terms in Heroes vs. Villains, after she warns him that she'll be running the team. He laughs when she points a pun on his name, after his key doesn't work. At the Campfire Ceremony, they sit next to each other and high-five after Chris announces their win. In Evil Dread, Duncan seems annoyed by Jo's bossy attitude, leading to be confused whether to vote her out or Lightning. In Saving Private Leechball, Duncan was annoyed that Jo, Heather and Alejandro kept on arguing throughout the challemge, knowing that they were actually trying to get he and his girlfriend to form an alliance with one of them. After their team lost, Duncan most probably voted for Jo as she cost them the challenge for shooting Scott with their own cannon.

Justin

Duncan and Justin had no connection with each other on Total Drama Island, as they were on separate teams. Duncan did, however stare at him in Not So Happy Campers - Part 1 with the rest of the campers. In Total Drama Action, they seemed to get along with each other when they interacted in the guys' trailer. However, Duncan became annoyed when Justin refused to help him open the trailer door in The Chefshank Redemption because Justin was afraid that he'd ruin his manicure if he tried to help. In Super Hero-ld, Justin convinces Duncan and Harold to start a new guys' alliance in order to vote off one of the four remaining girls since they were outnumbered by them. Duncan and Harold agreed to join him.

JD fight

Justin and Duncan sword-fighting over Courtney.

However, any camaraderie Duncan and Justin had went out the window in The Princess Pride. They get into a major conflict in this episode after Justin falls for Courtney, who Duncan still has feelings for. Towards the beginning of the episode, Duncan misleads Justin in the first part of the challenge as a prank, getting Justin hurt (which Duncan laughs at). Then, Justin spots Duncan cheating in the same challenge, but Chris does not believe him. After that, Justin begins to fall for Courtney and says that they would make a very attractive couple, much to Duncan's anger. They continue to get into arguments over Courtney, mostly resulting from Duncan's jealousy that Courtney seems to be responding favorably to Justin's flirting. At the end of the episode Justin is eliminated and Duncan, along with the other contestants (even Courtney, who reveals she was only accepting Justin's flirting to distract him from the game), are clearly not upset that he is leaving. In The Aftermath: IV, Chris showed that Duncan was nice to Justin once by fixing Justin's sleep mask while he slept. Duncan said that Justin still had his good looks when Justin asks if he is still hot or not. However, Justin voted for Beth.

Katie and Sadie

Like many of the other contestants, Duncan does not take Katie or Sadie seriously due to their bubbly and rather ditzy personalities. They both appear to be somewhat afraid of him, as they are shown to be hesitant when Courtney asks who is going to wake Duncan up during the episode, Dodgebrawl.

In The Sucky Outdoors, both girls get separated from the rest of their team. Duncan is one of the first to notice this and asks everyone if they have seen "Tweedle-Dum and Tweedle-Idiot." Later, after Courtney suggests that the two might have been eaten by a bear, Duncan agrees with her and sarcastically says, "Darn shame." Sadie frowns when Duncan picks her and Harold as canoe partners in Up the Creek and in Who Can You Trust?, Sadie regards Duncan, along with the rest of the team as "marshmallow-eating freaks."

Leshawna

Shawniefeedsduncan

Leshawna force-feeding Duncan some food in Trial by Tri-Armed Triathlon.

Duncan and Leshawna have had an ongoing conflict from Trial by Tri-Armed Triathlon onwards. During this episode's first challenge, Duncan cheats his way to the better position (eating food), giving Leshawna the latter position (feeding the food). Seeing that he cheated, she made the challenge difficult for him, even if it meant losing the challenge herself, by force-feeding the food to him. For the second challenge, Duncan "dared" Leshawna to forfeit, implying that he would do something to her if she didn't. In the middle of the second challenge and later in the third challenge, they began to show signs of friendship when they discovered that they had common interests to talk about.

During Total Drama Action, Leshawna tries to form an alliance with Duncan and Harold, but to no avail, since Harold and Duncan refuse to work together, due to an earlier conflict.

File:TDA Ep. 11 (LeShawna and Duncan).jpg

Duncan accuses Leshawna of cheating her way to the prize in Full Metal Drama.

In Full Metal Drama, Duncan refused to trust Leshawna after her "fake win." Duncan, along with everyone, were angry with Leshawna when she secretly made some rude comments about him and the others coming from Courtney's PDA in Million Dollar Babies, but he immediately forgave her after she made an apologetic cheer to everyone during the tie-breaker challenge. This quickly changes in Dial M for Merger when Duncan and the others continue to give Leshawna the cold shoulder even though she had apologized to everyone. Leshawna later finally got Duncan and Harold to be in her alliance that same episode after she previously tried to form one in One Flu Over the Cuckoos. Unfortunately in Super Hero-ld, Duncan immediately votes Leshawna off due to her being a threat, thus ending their alliance.

Lindsay

File:TDI Lindsay 5.jpg

Lindsay reminiscing about Duncan's cruelty in Haute Camp-ture.

In Not So Happy Campers - Part 1, Duncan is briefly seen with his arm around Lindsay. While she appears to be scared, she doesn't say anything. In X-Treme Torture, Lindsay gets on Duncan's bad side due to their pairing in the final challenge, which leads to a Screaming Gophers victory; to the point where he nearly attacks Chris into getting his marshmallow. In Brunch of Disgustingness, Chris explains that the challenge will be a regular "Battle of the Sexes.” Duncan gives emphasis to the word "sexes" towards Lindsay by winking at her. She responded by sticking her tongue out at him. In That's Off the Chain!, Duncan was seen to be annoyed at DJ and Owen talking to Lindsay. When Duncan needs to ride Lindsay's bike, he disapproves of it due to its girly nature but ultimately does it and even compliments her for making a fast bike. Duncan supported Lindsay's struggle after she finds out that Heather had been using her, saying that it was "cold.” He seemed arguably sad at the Dock of Shame this episode, and smiled a tad when Lindsay said goodbye to him. However, during Haute Camp-ture, Lindsay calls him cruel and claims to hate his treatment towards deer and trees.

Duncanlindsaymovie

Lindsay brought Duncan to the movies with her.

Lindsay joined Beth and Leshawna to voted Duncan off in Super Hero-ld, but they failed due to The Second Guys Alliance, Leshawna was eliminated instead . Also, in The Princess Pride, Duncan makes fun of Lindsay's large feet, calling Lindsay "Big Foot," which upset her. In Get a Clue, Lindsay handcuffs Duncan when she, Harold and Beth think he is the murderer. However, Lindsay eventually finds out that Duncan was innocent and apologized to him for accusing him. She then make up for her mistake and brought him to the movies with her. Although they found it hard to talk at all due to their obvious differences, they both took pleasure in torturing Courtney and making her jealous.

In Rock n' Rule, Lindsay devised a plan to vote off Duncan along with Beth, Harold and Owen. Unfortunately, she got distracted by Beth when she looked at her and accidentally voted herself off, leaving Duncan safe. When the video shows Lindsay voting for herself after it was revealed that she got sent home, Duncan laughs rudely at her mistake, and does not seem upset.

In The Aftermath: IV, Lindsay can be heard in awe when she saw the video Duncan showing his sweet side. She, however, supports her best friend, Beth in the finals.

Mike

File:Seems familiar.png

Duncan wonders why Mike's voice sounds familiar.

According to Duncan, he knew Mike, who is known as Mal at the time, from juvenile hall when he was first incarcated. Knowing how dangerous Mal is, Duncan stays away from him. Because of this, Mike does not recognise Duncan when they met in Total Drama All-Stars. After Duncan was transferred to the same team with Mike, Duncan initially doesn't remember Mike but overtime, he begin to recognize Mike's voice and finally remembers that he is Mal. Duncan will then try to convince Mike's girlfriend, Zoey to be careful of Mike.

Noah

DuncanPierceNoah

Duncan threatening to pierce Noah's lip.

This conflict first begins in Not So Happy Campers - Part 1, when Duncan makes a remark about Noah's mother, prompting Noah to sarcastically remark on Duncan's piercings. Duncan then grabs Noah's lip and threatens to pierce it, to which Noah calmly requests that he let go. Duncan obliges and Noah thanks him sarcastically. During Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island, Duncan and Courtney pair up, but also split up after Duncan "sprains" his ankle. After Courtney takes the case and leaves him, Izzy literally drops on her. Once Izzy takes the case, Eva passes Duncan and catches up to Izzy, though Noah stops at Duncan to talk to him about how he just became "less of a man" after Courtney turns on him. This enrages Duncan and forces him to try and "get" him, but only ends up taking his pants.

In The Aftermath: IV when it is revealed that Duncan wins the money, Noah is seen with an unsatisfied look on his face. In Beth's ending, he is seen cheering with Beth. Duncan, along with Gwen and Cody, laugh at Noah when they found out he is Chris' assistant in Celebrity Manhunt's Total Drama Action Reunion Special.

In I See London..., Duncan votes off Noah as soon as he returned to the competition. In Sweden Sour, Duncan uses Noah's absence as a strategy to get Owen on his side. Duncan tells Owen that they should honor Noah's parting words by allying together against Alejandro. He later asks Owen, "What would Noah do?" in order to get Owen to fully turn against Alejandro.

Owen

Along with Heather, Duncan is one of the main people to criticize Owen over his weight and/or consumption habits. To force Owen to join the Guys' Alliance, Duncan held Owen by a foot and hung him over a cliff, to which Owen desperately agrees (although Duncan only held him from a short distance above the ground.) Duncan was seen mocking Owen's hunting skills when he got away from Owen in Paintball Deer Hunter. Later, in Are We There Yeti?, Duncan and Owen were seen working together, and Duncan says he's excited to have been paired with him, but only because he knew that if a bear came that it would go after Owen first, considering his weight. Though Duncan and Owen have mocked each other many times, there are instances where they are seen as somewhat good friends. Duncan also supports Owen in The Very Last Episode, Really!. When Owen returned to Total Drama Action, he was hugged by him.

Sam

Sam and the rest of the team threw a suprise party for Duncan in Food Fright after he was added to the team in the previous episode. When Sam suggests that they sing the "Welcome Song", Duncan strongly disagrees. During the challenge, Duncan is seen cheering for Sam.

Sierra

Sierra is a mother

Duncan appears concerned with Sierra's mental state.

The two have had little interaction early on in the series as Duncan quit Total Drama World Tour for the first half of the season, but later have a minor conflict due to Sierra's conflict with Gwen as well as Duncan's conflict with Cody. In Celebrity Manhunt's Total Drama Action Reunion Special, Duncan andCourtney coldly respond to Sierra's friendly greeting when she attempts to interview them. In Greece's Pieces, Sierra was thrilled when Cody punched Duncan and was talking about how Cody's fans would go crazy in excitement. In African Lying Safari, she refused to make an alliance with Duncan, possibly because of a certain conflict which may have made her look at him as a threat. In a deleted clip, Duncan mention he is glad to be away from Sierra while taking the Drop of Shame. Sierra also mentions her belief that Duncan has had feelings for Gwen since season one.

The conflict appears to have subsided by Total Drama All-Stars. In Heroes vs. Villains Sierra meets Duncan (with Gwen) and apologizes to them for being so hostile to them two seasons ago, saying she now understands that "love-is-love" just like her relationship with Cody. The two become teammates after Duncan switches teams with Courtney. Sierra and the others host a surprise welcome party for him the next episode. Excited that Duncan was now on the Heroic Hamsters, Sierra quickly goes to get her smartphone for a photo, only to find out someone broke it. In No One Eggspects The Spanish Opposition, when converses with Zoey about his concern over Mal, he mentions Sierra's phone being broken in the list of things that Mal destroyed. During the challenge Sierra asks Duncan if they could search for eggs together and if she can call him Cody, but he turns down her offer as he was trying to assert his villainous status at the time. Later when Cody Jr's egg hatches, Duncan seems taken aback by the two-headed rat, and Sierra's affection towards the mutant doesn't help either. Later Duncan asks Sierra if she can guard the eggs she happily complies. Duncan quickly refuses to prove that he is a "bad guy", to which Sierra rolls her eyes at. In Suckers Punched, Duncan asks how Scott and Sierra both could have gotten such personal opponents, and appears to be concerned when she loses. When Sierra is about to be eliminated, Duncan finds her Gwuncan blog amusing and tells her to continue making them.

Scott

Through their limited interactions in Total Drama All-Stars, Duncan and Scott appear to get along.

In Heroes vs. Villains, Duncan and Lightning are attempting to talk Scott into jumping off the cliff to get the key for the McLean Spa Hotel. Lightning manages to pry Scott off the rock he was holding to, but ended up pushing the Robot off instead. In Evil Dread, Duncan and Scott are seen sitting next to each other in the McLean Spa Hotel, toasting to their villain status. In Saving Private Leechball, Duncan reveals that he has a liking to Scott, finding his clumsiness amusing. In No Eggspects The Spanish Opposition, Duncan laughs at Scott when he falls to the ground in an attempt to appear villainous, but still ends up helping him up.

Trent

Duncan Trent

Duncan laughing at his prank towards Trent.

These two didn't have much any conflict with each other in the first season, and even a friendship after (and possibly before) the merge. However, Trent's jealousy and believing that Duncan is stealing Gwen from him, drove them to become partial enemies during the early episodes of the second season. However by the third season, the conflict seems to be resolved and Trent seems to accept the fact Duncan is dating Gwen.

Tyler

While the two of them appear to be friends in Camp TV, Duncan and Tyler doesn't get along in the actual series. In Not So Happy Campers - Part 1, Tyler was shown to be against sharing a cabin with Duncan, and took credit for Duncan's extermination of a cockroach, claiming he could do that as well to impress Lindsay. Duncan then mutters that girls like Lindsay "always go for the jocks.” Also, in Not So Happy Campers - Part 2, Duncan and Tyler are seen fighting over a hammer. Later in the episode, Duncan defends Tyler when Courtney suggests that the team vote him off instead of her. In Dodgebrawl, Tyler is shown to fear Duncan when the latter tells him he better not be woken up, and he gulps and has a look of fear. In Phobia Factor, even though Tyler gives support to Duncan while he tries to overcome his fear, Duncan mocks Tyler's fear of chickens when he was leaving for the loser boat.

In Greece's Pieces, Duncan angrily says in the confessional that he knows that Tyler saw him and Gwen kissing in the previous episode and threatens that Tyler should know better. He glares at him in economy class, knowing that Tyler is considering saying something about the incident. After being persuaded by Alejandro, Tyler told everyone about Duncan's secret. In The EX-Files, after Duncan is recovering from being kicked in the groin by Courtney, Tyler complains about Duncan to Alejandro and Owen, calling him a jerk and that saying that he'd never cheat on Lindsay the way Duncan cheated on Courtney, even adding that Duncan deserved two kicks to the groin instead of just one for what he had done. However, Tyler admires Duncan, as he is able to win the hearts of two hotties. When Duncan arrived to save Alejandro and Tyler from the aliens, Duncan punched Tyler's face to destroy one of the aliens. Duncan is later partially responsible for getting Tyler eliminated, where he and Alejandro had plotted together to vote him off.

Zoey

File:ZoeyDuncanparty.png

Zoey welcomes Duncan to the Heroic Hamsters.

After Duncan moved to the Heroic Hamsters in Saving Private Leechball, he immediately distrusts his new team as he believes they are out to get him. Additionally, he believes that the team's niceness is rubbing on him, making him act nicer than he normally would and also ruining his "bad boy" reputation. However, Duncan easily warm up to the rest of his team, notably Zoey.

When Duncan discovers an old foe from juvie is on his team, he quickly share this information with Zoey, who is closer to Mike than anyone else. She is also the only person who believes Duncan as everyone else either ignores him or mocks him when he tries to advise them.

Trivia

  • Despite his conflicts, he makes it to the final five in the first three seasons and is even a finalist in Total Drama Action, where the eliminated contestants chose him as their favored to win in one of the endings.
  • Despite his rude and harsh attitude towards the other contestants, Duncan actually has a well-hidden soft side.
